Preliminary Site Investigation
A preliminary site investigation evaluates the likelihood of contamination based on site history and available information.
Our investigations may include
- Review of historical land use and title records
- Examination of aerial photographs and historical site plans
- Review of previous environmental reports, where available
- Identification of potentially contaminating activities or land uses
- Site walkover and visual inspection
- Assessment of surrounding land uses and influences
- Identification of data gaps requiring further investigation
These investigations help identify potential contamination risks and determine whether further environmental investigation, such as a Detailed Site Investigation (DSI), may be required.
