As part of our ongoing commitment to training new engineers, we’re looking for students currently undertaking Bachelor of Engineering (Civil, Structural or similar) to be able to work 3 to 5 days per week.

This position offers the opportunity to:

• Develop strong working relationships with new and existing clients;
• Carry out a variety of Geotechnical & Environmental field testing & Investigations;

Actively participate in activities that develop and promote your career, that of your colleagues and the BHM Geotechnical organisation.

To be successful you will display, the following:

• Currently undertaking Bachelor of Engineering Civil/Structural or similar with a strong academic background.
• A demonstrated passion for working in the geotechnical engineering discipline
• High-level report writing with excellent communication skills
• Adept at working within a team environment through well-developed interpersonal skills
• A positive person with a proactive attitude
• Must have your own vehicle to be able to attend sites (if required).
• Must have your own safety shoes. We will provide all other safety equipment.
• Must have a right attitude towards safety.
• General construction induction card (white card)

Working Hours

• Flexible working hours to accommodate the students need to leave for exams/ other course requirements. Students will always be supervised by a suitably qualified Engineer.
